About Us
Welcome to the Committee on Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics
About
Now in its 48th year, the Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics Program offers rigorous training for individuals with MD, MD/PhD, PharmD, PharmD/PhD, or PhD degrees who seek advanced expertise in personalized medicine, pharmacogenomics, novel drug development, classical clinical pharmacology, the genetics of substance use disorders, and clinical trial design. The program features a structured curriculum that includes formal coursework, regular interaction with experienced faculty and peers, and a highly mentored academic environment.
Trainees gain comprehensive knowledge in pharmacology, engage in hands-on clinical experience, and are trained in the latest experimental techniques. The program also provides opportunities to present research findings, prepares participants for board eligibility in Clinical Pharmacology, and supports joint fellowship opportunities in a variety of related fields.
